  Six Flags Great America is a proud supporter of educational programs and has created several opportunities to encourage education in the community. Read to Succeed is a program for K-6 students who complete six hours of non-school related reading to earn a free admission ticket. Schools can register online in the fall. Six Flags also hosts several educational events each year for teachers and students. Our most popular educational events is Physics Day where students from local schools participate in an outdoor learning lab by measuring G-forces on our rides and coasters. Six Flags also hosts Marketing Day where students interested in Marketing can come in for a Q&A with Six Flags Great America's Marketing Director. Kids want to be responsible; they want to have a purpose and independence, but somehow us parents made it ok for them to forget those very same values we were raised with.
